As a member of Global Welding Technologies, igm Robotersysteme AG can look back on more than 50 years of history as a leading company in the field of welding automation. As the only Austrian manufacturer of robots that are specially developed for arc welding, customers have access to extensive expertise for all applications.
|
Systems for the truck industry, for excavator production, for railroad construction, boiler production and for shipbuilding are exported across the globe and form the backbone of production facilities at many well-known manufacturers. To date, igm has successfully installed more than 4,000 of these systems worldwide in all sectors of mechanical engineering.

For almost 15 years, TL Electronic has been supplying igm Robotersysteme AG with individualized, customer-specific embedded box PCs that are placed in the control cabinet. The main device, the IBDRW100-EL embedded PC, is now in its second generation, although the housing itself has remained identical. A decisive aspect for the customer! Only the inner workings and therefore the performance have changed.

In addition, igm Robotersysteme AG also uses other special devices from us, such as an IP65 fanless box PC, which is not used in the control cabinet but directly on welding arms. The new robotic controllers from TL Electronic could also be interesting for the future.

Hundreds of IBDRW100-EL embedded PCs have been deployed to date and are operating smoothly. They ensure reliability, offer long-term availability and thus increase overall efficiency for the end customer. Our customer can therefore concentrate fully on its core business.

|
The robust all-rounder IBDRW100-EL has proven itself in countless industrial applications for many years. Its compact design, in combination with the patented terminal block, offers a flexible installation solution for secure mounting where space is limited. In addition, all interfaces are accessible from the front, which makes installation and subsequent modifications in the control cabinet or control housing much easier.

In addition to the digital I/O (9 × input/9 × output, optional different assignment), the embedded PC has numerous other interfaces and can therefore be easily connected to a wide range of peripheral devices.
