Thus we obtain a protection class complying with the stringent IP65 or IP54 standard according to IEC 60529.

Advantages of fully cased panel PCs:
Due to the complete encasement with a robust housing, a high degree of mechanical protection is achieved. The rugged aluminium profiles effectively prevent the panel PCs from physical damage.
All connections of the Panel PC are safely located inside and are thus protected. The cables are lead through the bottom (or optionally the top) of the housing through a sealed socket.
